Doesn't Stay Logged in

Very often I find on android, and on my PC in chrome and edge that I am not logged in to the forums... am I doing something wrong?

No it's the website, unlike every other site on the internet PH seems to think you shouldn't stay logged in permanently.

Coupled with the "pistonheads is not responding due to a long running script" problem this site is now more trouble than entertainment.

Why this cant be sorted out I have no idea. the site worked for years without these problems and now after the new improved adverts and the update its slightly broken.

Hi Glade,

There is a checkbox when logging in that you can check that will enable to stay logged in. However, this doesn't work all the time and on occasion you might have to reenter your credentials to log in. This is an existing issue that is with the development team.

When you say "development team" I assume that it's just one person? Who works part time and has a lot of time off sick? PH has supposedly been working on this problem, and many others, for literally years.

I tried fixing it, but kept getting logged out.

Anyway the suns out so I'll nip off to the pub and think about it tomorrow, maybe.

I'm afraid that this is still something that the development team are trying to 100% solve. I feel your pain as I get logged out occasionally too, so I hope the guys manage to fix it soon!
