VW Jetta 2007 tdi DSG - help?! Reliable? Good car?

Could I ask your advise...
I'm looking at a vs Jetta 2007 tdi DSG 45k miles
Is it reliable? I've read that this era of vw''s have oil pump and DSG problems, is this true of a car if I buy it now? Or could these potential problems still occur?
Would you suggest that this car is a good reliable family car?
I'm put off the vw Passat of this era as owners have said they are riddled with problems. A bit of back knowledge, it's this Jetta or an e220 cdi auto 2004. Different cars I know but I have my reasons lol.
