Hi. Any news from which Jaguar or LandRover can fit bearing to wheels? Front and rear in all DB9 are the same.

Take the bearing out and clean it up. It will have a reference number on it. You then match it up in a parts catalogue at a bearing factor (yes there are such things) because a bearing (of a type) is a bearing is a bearing. AM wheels are no different from other cars. They selected a bearing from the GKN/Timken/SKF/etc catalogue, the engineers checked it would do the job, they used it. It may well also be used in a LR Discovery or anything else.

The places they differ is the kit bits - oil seals, felt pads that you oil up, and so on. You may have to do some running round for these bits.

Done loads of these, ok on race cars where they come out quite easily, can be a sod if they've been in there a while. Comes as bolt-in assembly, same part on all 4 corners. Probably got half a dozen kicking around with a few 1000 kms on them...

That's interesting, presumably they press the assembly together so that it's all but impossible to dismantle. I don't suppose there is a specialist who can take them to bits and rebuild them? Albeit with good used ones at £90 a go it wouldn't be very worthwhile.

They're not a serviceable item, as there is no nut to preload its all set from the factory. To be honest I wouldn't ( and don't) mess with them and replace if necessary.
