LM Classic Cups...

Did anybody manage to get a full set? We didn't see any Grid 1 or 2 ones all weekend...

At 9€ a go I could just about stomach buying one to get a cup! Made the champagne at 80€ look good value...

you do not have to buy a drink, you can just buy the cup for 1 euro

The ACO bar had loads of 2014 cups, probably a reflection of the lousy weather that year!

Actually, the ACO made no charge for any cups, and it was no problem getting cups at any time. They were charging E7.50 for a beer and the cup came free, which was a good deal compared to the other bars on the circuit.

No the beer was 6.50 a go and the cups an extra 1, we were in the ACO grandstand and each round of 3 beers was 19.50 if we returned the cups. each time you returned one they asked if we wanted the same cup back or a fresh one.

Thanks for the correction. We weren't aware of the option. In any case it's important for son and I to come back from LM with as many cups as we can for our three grandchildren who think they are cool things for picnics etc!

Were in a black car (the type of which I'm not sure but it looked very nice) with that in the passenger seat? If so I saw you both at a petrol station north of Rouen and in the queue at the Channel Tunnel

I have loads of cups from previous main and classic le mans but kept 1, if i had kept all of the cups from each beer i had in the aco there would have been a problem fitting them in the MR2 for the return journey
