How is it that a 1990 S series car can be a S3C,surely thats an S3.
The reason is, there is one on Ebay and even talks about decatting, Err on a 1990 car, I don't understand this.
My new banger is 1991 and still isn't a S3C

At the time the S was available without cats, or with cats... the latter being a £1500 option.

The "c" cars supposedly had a bit more power (or was it torque?!?) and came with an LSD.

Power was the same, it was more torque.

There was a thread on here ages ago about whether or not the LSD was standard - general opinion seemed to be it was an option. I don't know if mine has an LSD or not - looks standard but no doubt the difference is internal.

Suppose I could find out by chucking it about a bit...
