Door not locking on Chimaera?

Afternoon all, on my 1998 Chimaera with the Meta alarm system the near side door is not locking when I set the alarm??

Any ideas?

I've had this before on a few occasions. I think each time it was a different problem. (Sorry!)

I think, however, that on one occasion everything had gotten out of sinc with everything else. I think the solution that time was to disconnect the battery, leave it for a while,reconnect, and Roberts's yer father's brother. (It's a cheap one to try anyway)

Do you have the door sensors at the bottom and the magnet on the sill.

On the cerb when this happens we usually find that some of the wires to the sensor have corroded. Replace them with bullet connectors or something like that.

Check the solenoid hasn't stuck, I had this problem on mine after leaving it unused in the garage for a couple of cold winter weeks. The solenoid was sticking. Some WD40 followed by some light grease and it has been fine since.

Sorry to state the obvious but as it is only one door which has the problem the alarm side of things can be ruled out.
Probably a door solenoid problem or bad connection. Have you checked the pin switch?
If it turns out to be the solenoid Maplin do them dirt cheap
