We're the last of the couples in our group to do a 'Come Dine With Me'.

The rest were pretty good.

Our theme is Safari with the wife in charge of decoration and entertainment and me having to sort the food out.

For the main I wanted to do some variation on individual beef wellingtons, maybe using bison?

I can't decide on starter but something easy like this for desert http://allrecipes.com/recipe/17300/zebra-cake/

Any ideas gratefully received.

You could do a trio of bison.

As well as the bison wellingtons, offer up some braai/bbq'd steaks, and as for a 3rd dish, I remember being told some seasoned/curried mincemeat with a sort of baked omelette topping was a South African dish - just googled it and it's called "bobotie" - so you could do that with some minced bison.

Hire a Land Rover Defender 110 and serve some tinned beans in the back whilst driving through Windsor Safari Park.

Wasn't one of those young ladies the wife of Pete Waterman?
