Ok another question.
Did TVR offer metalic paint, specifically blue in the 1990's or were they solid colours?

Mine is a 1990 g-reg and is starmist mica blue. I know of at least one other original metallic (green) S2.

It is a semi serious question because I have bought a doggy S3 that needs repainting but I quite like the colour.
I would like to restore it to its former glory and hope its a TVR colour.

If it's any help mine is Metallic midnight blue, looks good when spotless and in the sun, but boring dark blue all other times! Am thinking of changing the colour

Thought you could have a TVR in any colour, hence no such thing as a TVR colour??!! I could be completely wrong of course...

My 1990 S3 is Mica Metallic blue. The best colour imho especially with cream leather interior.
