GMT Master II BLNR Wanted

Hi all

Can anyone point me in the direction of a new 116710 BLNR at list price? Both Iconic and Watchfinder are listing them at £6500 ish. Ideally I'm after one that's in stock somewhere at UK RRP and if it's local to London even better.

A chum of mine who is resident in Singapore is back in the UK in a few weeks and wants to buy here as he can claim back the VAT.

Call some AD's outside London. There will be a waiting list at most inside the m25.

I have recently purchased one of these having found it very hard to track one down without paying as you mention a large premium.

When I rang round a few dealers in London it was either a flat no or that the waiting list was stupidly long (I.e well over a year into 1.5/2 years). I'm in Essex and put myself on the list in virtually every Rolex AD I was willing to travel to. Got a call from Mappin & Webb in Cambridge after 4 weeks saying there was one in with my name on it. I was told they had another coming in within the following 4 weeks too so it may be worth trying them? / Put your name down see if anything crops up/people not wanting them anymore or the dealer can't get in touch with them they soon work their way down the list.

Not much help but maybe of some.
