Christopher Jackson Ltd. Cheshire

As per the title - has anyone ever purchased from this dealer or have any experience with them?
I noticed the below Vantage they have up for sale, but it seems way over-priced given the general spec and non-AM history. It's also advertised as 'New Price Reduction' so have to wonder what it started at if it's now 'reduced' to £39k? If I had £39k to spend (which I don't - £35k is max budget) then I'm pretty sure I could find a similar spec/mileage car for circa £38k from an approved AM dealer with all the associated benefits. So just wondering if this dealer is known for advertising with unrealistically high mark-ups? Would be interested at £35k but don't want to waste a trip if they are known for not moving on price. Guessing that maybe being based in Cheshire, they feel they can charge a premium given the local clientel?

Thanks for the replies - think I'll give this one a miss. Doubt I'll get much intent to move on price unless I'm there in person and not sure I can be bothered to risk a day trip there and back on what's looking like a long-shot in terms of price. Will keep on looking closer to home (Bristol).
Just in case anyone has a 2005/2006 4.3 in tungsten silver with black leather & white stitching coming up for sale, feel free to drop me a PM.

I wasn't too worried about the independent history per se, just the sticker price really. If it was up at say £37k I'd be fairly confident of getting around £2k off with some negotiation, but at £39k I just can't see it happening. Obviously they can charge a premium because of their location which is all well and good for them, but makes no sense for me when there will be similar cars for sale elsewhere at a more affordable price.

I think the prices may reflect people's general reluctance to shop a bit further afield. When I was looking for my car, and when I've more recently been looking at a Boxster-S for the summer, the vast majority of cars are "down south", and the up north cars I've looked at are either overpriced or poor condition. Not that I'm saying you can't get a good car for the right price up here, but you have more chance further afield because the pool is bigger. You're also paying "nice weather" tax - if you can wait until people are mostly thinking about winter tyres and Christmas, you can often pick up some better deals.
There is a car here in your budget, MY07 and all the usual bits. Needs some research on the SH as not explicit in the ad.

although it could be meteorite rather than tungsten - difficult to tell from the lighting.

Thanks - I had noticed early Vantage prices seem to have gradually crept up from when I first starting looking a few months ago. Is this just the time of year or does it reflect a slight strengthening in prices, which do seem to have been pretty flat for the past couple of years? There is a car here in your budget, MY07 and all the usual bits. Yes I can always wait until Autumn/Winter - I just have it in my mind to get one now. I started casually looking back in March but had to wait until July to get all the money in-hand. I've also completely re-furbed the garage in readiness and as of last week there's now a nice clear space ready for the car. Typically I've seen 3 or 4 cars come and go that looked perfect on paper back in April/May when I didn't have the funds available...
I have noticed the one above on Autotrader as it's been around for about 2 weeks now, but it's not my ideal spec. Was hoping to get something under 50k mileage and also with the earlier style seats. Not sure whether to go for the best I can find now or hang on until a perfect spec car becomes available.
