Any of you lovely folk doing it this year?

Because of them messing around with the days we're not going to be able to get a practice on the friday before the main race on saturday (Who has the main race on the saturday and the fun on the sunday?)

I must admit the closer we're getting, the more nervous i'm getting about racing blind. I have done loads of Enduros around the country but this one makes me nervous going blind as the rock is kind of hard LOL at least crashing in mud is a bit more forgiving. I crashed badly on stage 3 last year.

Anyone ride there regularly? or have any idea on the stages this year?

Tyre suggestions.

I'm doing the 30km sprint but I'm there to take part rather than compete.

I still can't work out how the crash happened from the video.
Did the front wash out?

looks like cross rutted in a wet rut.

I'm going. Having second thoughts watching some stages. Looks a bit uninspiring.

yeah a complete wash out.

trouble with GoPro footage is it takes all the speed and steepness out. Looks mundane in the videos ( i looked at all mine again last night) and i remember thinking at the time how fast and steep it all was??

Nope its on the Saturday. Lunchtime start. Going to drive up first thing in the morning and set up camp. Do the ride, hopefully finish it in one piece and then get bladdered in the evening.

I'll be doing the Ard' Rock Enduro on the Saturday, also booked on the Ard Moors too.

Tubless Tyres are a given, might get some new Minions

I'll ask the people at registration on Friday if I can swap over to that time, look out for a dark red A3 with a rockshox and PH smiley in the rear window, I'm sure I'll be hovering around somewhere!

I was willing, but Thorpy reckons a single speed rigid wouldn't be up to it, I think he was just worried about keeping up with me.

You're probably right, I'd be more worried about you trying to pass off as someone in the 19-29 cat wink

I'll be in my "pedal-Worx" jersey with the rest of the team, I'll come and say hi. Wont be in anything interesting car wise though, bike busses.
