Finally got my DBS!

Hi guys, thought I would share my excitement now that I've had the car for 3 days!

I went from an '05 DB9 to a '09 DBS this week - I loved the DB9 but it just felt its age and had a few too many niggles.

So I took the plunge and now have a lovely black DBS with a Quicksilver sports exhaust from the dealer. It just feels like the car I wished my DB9 was - the noise, the looks, the power, and the stereo in the DB9 (Linn) was a joke, which has been put right here too.





I've a trip to Wales planned in a couple of weeks driving the EVO triangle with some other rather nice cars, really can't wait!

Confirms what Clarkson said about the DBS being a DB9 where just everything is a little bit better.

Touchtronic. The gearbox feels so much quicker than the 2005 DB9 version too.

Yes, it really is IMO a very much improved and enhanced DB9 from what I can tell, but that's no bad thing as I really loved my old DB9.

The reaction difference is amazing too, it seems the DBS is even more liked and respected than other Astons, which themselves get a great reception by other drivers and the public.

As in love as I am with my precious Vesuvius (MY13 DB9.2),,,I absolutely agree, the DBS has a certain je ne sais quoi that sets it apart, in a class of its own.

I did the opposite, I was going for a DBS but after a dreadful experience with the dealer ended up getting an 05 DB9.

I'm finding it hard now to justify spending another £50k+ on moving to a DBS now, perhaps you could assist me...!
