- that's a fair guess, they're related in a way: it was developed from the CW311 prototype. There was one for sale in Marlborough last year, which I meant to try & view but missed the chance. A very rare & unusual beastie!

BTW it is an Isdera and apparently 30 of them were sold.

There's one for sale at DD Classics in Richmond which was the one featured I believe in the recent article in Classic & Sportscar

We had not one but two (which must be a first outside of Germany), including the DD Classics car. Not a bad day out.

One of these made the front cover of the Daily Mirror on a slow news day in the late 80s. It was on fire in London and the big black headline was "Burnup"; very eloquent. With typoical tact the journos had cornered the owner nearby for a comment. "Gutted" he said which sort of matched the car.

I always wondered if it had been scrapped or restored.

Pretty sure someone else spotted one in a UK driveway on this hallowed sub-forum a few years back and asked what it was.
