Sagaris and D70 on the move

Nice shots
- photogenic colour, too. (Although I don't think I'd want to live with it!!!)
As for tips......
Shutter speed for movement. Slow, pan or hold very steady in the accompanying vehicle = sharp car blurred wheels and blurred background.
You can always cheat in Photoshop! Which I did here to boost the effect (taken on a Sony, before I got my D70, and without all the lovely control)
Shutter speed fast = no time for subject and background movement = a bit "sterile", and larger aperture which means that focussing is a bit more critical.
Whichever, you know that the background is capable of making or breaking a shot? Your's are pretty good, but it's easy not to notice something distracting or a bright splash of something when you're concentating on the foreground.

The following shot was taken with a standard D70 with the 18-70mm lens on, settings were....F/3.5 and 1/80sec shutter speed. A few of the earlier shots were blurred until I started trying to brace my arms in the car window. I think we were doing about 60-70mph.
Nice shots though, car does look really mean

Thanks for the replies guys.
Sorry for the delay in replying, work has been very busy.
These pics were taken from a chase car, however there was a bit of a speed diferentail between two cars.
Thanks for the tips though, I will be back out again I think trying to get some better shots.
PS: That bike shot is great
Thanks
Lake
