I saw a pic on here of a Vantage Roadster that had had a trteatment to the cloth roof that made water just bead and sit on it.
I got my detailer to do mine and now im getting him to get it off.

The problem is that when its raining and your driving with your window open when you turn left the beads meet and then pour into the car.

Worth it to protect the roof though

Ive always driven with the drivers window open an inch or so and watching water drip in to your speaker and switch gear every turn makes it not worth it.

You may say close the window but thats not an option for me so easiest is to get the stuff off.

Close the window and use the climate control.

Plan your trips like UPS so you never turn left.

That issue occurs on the coupe, too. I found that out on my first day of ownership.

But it doesn't happen continuously. When I first set off, I'll not open my window until I've made a turn. After that, it's good.

I've read some "First World problems" before, but I think this one wins!

I know what you mean. When I drive in the rain with the roof down I get soaked. Completely unacceptable

If you are getting wet driving in the rain with the roof down you obviously are not driving fast enough.
