So I've had my gall bladder removed last week, itching (literally) to get back on the bike, so was wondering if any of the PH veloists have been in the same situation.

The way I'm feeling now is in two weeks, I should be OK as had keyhole surgery, the only bonus of gall bladder surgery is the four weeks after the attack and subsequent hospital stay, I managed to lose 6kgs biggrin

Took me 6 weeks after open heart surgery. Ribs and upper body made me pay later but helped the healing process I reckon!

I did a sportive a few weeks ago where a chap did the 75mile route 12 weeks after open heart surgery, nice photo of him at the finish showing his scar off with an open jersey!

Slowly. I'm wherw you are now with 10 weeks off. Start slowly the first 2 weeks. Slowly means be content just turning the pedals for increasing periods.
