Battle Royale 2-Cr*p sequels not just by Hollywood

I loved the first Battle Royale a very thought provoking and frankly insane film-showcasing all that is good about Japanese cinema.

The sequel I have just watched-I borrowed from my Brother-It is quite frankly diabolical-If you were thinking of buying it don't bother.

Zero originality-Hysterical over acting, mystifying plot-Yes it has them all.

Seen it too. Agree its a terrible film. Beats you about the head with the politics instead of the subtleties of the subtext of the first film. Real shame.

I agree. It was absolutely godawful, yet the first film was brilliant. One of the few films I genuinely regret purchasing.
