Hey margarine really works !

Read a few old topics on here about tar spot removal and a few suggestions to try margarine.....so I did.
Rubbed it into a few tar spots, left for 15 mins & the spots came right off ! Magic !
Anyone know of any other valeting tips n tricks ?

You've got to be kidding! How does that work then?

Just rub a bit into the tar spot, wait 10-15 mins then wipe off, with a bit of elbow grease.
Was gonna but some expensive tar remover but thought I would give it a go.....& I didn't fancy using meths or white spirit or petrol (other suggestions)

So, whats next.....newspaper & vinegar on the windows (this actually works a treat !!)

hmmm, might try this myself - the arse-end of the GT3 picks up tar very easily...

Newspaper and plain cold water even works a treat - better than any proprietory glass cleaner in my experience.

Peanut oil on external plastics works too, that was from wax wizard too

my tip for allow repair is you can buy those paint pens in WH Smiths for about £1 - the silver one matches alloys very well and will help mask minor scratches on your alloys. Apparently you can buy Alloy wheel paint now but I haven't seen it for sale yet?

Good tips should always come in 3's mate.....

The Alloy paint is a Wurth paint (German make). I have just touched up some wheels with it and it matches perfectly. Got mine from www.wurth.co.uk, they even do the clear laquer to go on top.
