Updating a Garmin SatNav in a 2015 V12S Roadster

Okay so like a chump I bought the update disks only to realise a couple of things. One, I'm pretty sure now that to update the sat nav I need to used an SD card not disks. So I have a set of update discs for sale if anyone is interested.

Second, where the heck is the satnav kit hidden? There does not seem to be anything in the manual.

Oh and third where is best place to get update SD card?

On my 2012 roadster it was under the tonneau cover, the bit between the rear seats

It does seem to be in the center of the car under the tonneau and accessed by raising the roof. Do we get the front flap open by sheer brute force or is they a technique to doing this?
