Warthog, York

Just had a couple of A10 warthogs straight over the house, pretty low

I am NW of York along the A64, they were heading SE

I believe there are 8 of them flying out of Leeming on a joint exercise this week.

Oh man I wish I had seen those! Didn't hear them at Clifton Moor.

There were two Apaches over here the other day though!

Is your compass upside down? I used to live in York and the A64 runs NE and SW from the city.

They used to be permanently based in the UK - 81st TFW at Bentwaters.

I managed to get over to Leeming for a couple of hours last Thursday with the Camera...












C17s have been taking kit out of Leeming all day. The Hogs are expected to head home on Monday.
