Anyone had a TURP?

After many years of suffering an enlarged prostate and the numerous trips to the bathroom during the night, plus the occasional bouts of total retention, I've finally been given a date for TURP surgery in a couple of weeks time.

I'd be interested to hear your experiences, either positive or negative, I'm personally hoping for the best but expecting the worst, but that's just my pessimistic nature!
