Sunbeam Rapier S4 and Alpine 5 suspension swap?
Discussion
Hi any Sunbeam experts out there!
Before I start searching through manuals, I'm hoping someone will know this off the cuff.
I've got a very nice, low mileage (genuine 33K 1964 Rapier S4 fitted with the 13" steel wheels. I also have a '67 Alpine 1725 on an 'F' plate, bit of a dog's dinner but it does sit on a set of reasonably nice wire wheels.
Basic question is: will the axles swap?
I have other plans for the Alpine which involve wider axles and alloys etc. But I think the Rapier would look nice with the wires. OK, enough said for now. Anyone know for sure?
