Varocous Veins

Does anyone else suffer these?
My dad did/does he has had them removed, but he has spent his whole life being on his feet in a physical job.
Me i've had them a while, in my 30s now, they are not really causing me issues as far as I can tell, I do seem to have poor circulation though.

Anyone else had them?

What can you do about them? Does removing them make them worse?

GP pretty much said the NHS wont do anything, as its cosmetic and only suggestion was keep weight down and avoid standing for long periods as well as suggesting wearing these tubigrip things over them, which frankly made no difference.

It has to be Varicose veins + Something to get the NHS to sort them out. EG eczema, ulcers,

£2k to £4k privately.

Thank Doc, the GP did say it was them, I do have more cramp than I used to and the skin is indeed dry, as well as the hair gone a fair bit on the lower leg. Looks like I'm out of luck to fix, or full of luck because I'm not in cronic pain yet!

My other half had them. She's a nurse so spend 12 hours on her feet. Doc would only fix if they are causing pain as oppose to vanity reasons however you can always lie. She had new treatment where the isolate correct vein with ultrasound then inject with a liquid that collapses the vein before your body gets rid. 15 mins per leg and compression stocking for 2 weeks. Chances are they will come back but it's a lot less invasive than having them stripped out.
