Top Pics

I was in Kenya last year for our honeymoon.
Wonderful trip. Here is one of the highlights from the Masai Mara.

How do you add the pic ???????

WOW I am so jealous, I was quite proud of the pictures we managed when we went, now put to shame by those

Note to self, next time we go... take a better camera.

Yup shooting on D100. I have to say on the whole I prefer image tone that comes out of this to d1x but it occasionally has sloppy performance for pro use. In particular focusing system.

As a rule I'd say stick to AFS with d100.. and try to avoid teleconverters.

Still love it though...

Absolutely fantastic!!

I hope we see as much wildlife in Tanzania next year -but doubt that our 'point and presses' will produce such superb results.

Awesome...

Superb - an excellent set of photos.
Looks like you did the Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru?
Am off to Samburu and the Masai again this September. Went last Sept for the wildebeest migration but only took video.
This year I have a decent SLR digital camera so ready to go.
Would like to think I can get to your standard - presume Photoshop helped out a bit?
