Unusual leather smell.

So, after 27 years of ownership today I worked out why the smell of leather seems unusual, I took the spare set of wheels to the tyre shop to have the tyres removed so my spare wheels can be refurbished, the smell in the daily hack was the same as the wedge, it's the spare tyre I can smell, so I get a rubbery leather smell, it's a FHC. Should be nice with fresh wheels and tyres, mental note... get it serviced, MOT'd and use it more.
