Three stents fitted - now I feel great!

Having been diagnosed with heart problems a couple years ago during a pre-op assessment for prostate surgery I've been on medication until a new cardiologist took me on and really 'got to grips' with what was wrong - a 70% and a 99% blockage. As a result I had three stents fitted on Wednesday at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield (two left, one right), spent a night in hospital coming home this time yesterday.
In the past, at this time of day (mid afternoon) I would have felt tired and probably gone for a lie down. How do I feel today? Totally different with far more energy, totally reinvigorated and not in the slightest bit weary; a whole new start tempered only by the recent sad news about Russell - driving_me_nuts on PH and the fact that the first message on my answerphone this morning was from a friend who'd had a heart attack on Sunday. I spoke with her just now and she's doing fine and will shortly be heading for the same department that I've just left. She is, ironically, a retired nurse and has already had two scares which she ignored - I told her she ought to have known better and she agrees.
I think what I'm trying to say is 'look after your heart' - please...

Amazing the difference it makes. My mate looked 80, grey and couldn't walk the length of the street. Now running and cycling and full of vigour and back to bein 48.
As an aside and sorry for the thread sidetrack, but what is the news with dmn? I am not on here often but he has always been one of the best - warm, empathetic and human. Hope that nothing too serious.

I am so sorry. RIP dmn. A thoughtful, considered and considerate person on here. Not someone I ever met nor was likely to, but I feel the loss. My sincere condolences to all his family and many, many friends.
