It's an MTB not a car , no attempt to bypass PH classifieds , just an attempt to get some expert input. So why the delete?

With the greatest of respect the intention of the rule is pretty clear, just because it says "car" rather than "vehicle" is a bit tenuous.

OK ..but why the intolerance,?

I wade through acres of posts where folk ponder the price of Porsches/i8's or Maclaren's (the cars not the prams.)

All vehicles , and a pushbike ain't in the same league, all I wanted was some PH bike brain input

Fine , understand that but I'm still clueless as to value , PH bike bods seemed a resource worth listening to, I'm selling it on eBay but no idea what price to ask.

Sorry, but all vehicle valuation threads are routinely removed when either spotted by a mod on his rounds, or by members by way of reports.

Sorry you feel peeved but we just act according to the rules of posting, if you should see others threads/posts asking for a valuation then please report them and we will act accordingly.

We do try to be consistent in our moderation, but we are unable to read every thread/post that are raised on a daily basis, and rely on members to point us towards rule breaches by way of the report system.

Bike! too risky.......4 wheels everytime for me, and that's not a two wheeled vesicle with stabilisers.

As for OP, maybe try signing up to RetroBike forums, as your bike is 10 years old there might be some interest there. You'll at least get a rough valuation.

Usually means "arsey comments incoming, but I'll add some niceties before it to make it look less arsey".

To the OP, not having any idea regards its value is a weak argument. The completed listings button on Ebay will provide you with many examples of what they sell for if you also click the 'sold' button. The exception to this is if it's a super rare item, but as it's a MTB then that won't be an issue.
