Fan belt width

Is anyone in the know or in a position to measure the width of the fan belt.

I want to order a new 1138mm long belt for a none power steering app.

My existing belt is 10mm wide but when i look closely it does seem to sit quite low in the pulley, so just want to check i order the right one.

That sounds about right mate...Poppy's undercover at the moment so can't measure.

Just checked mine - 10mm. Assume you mean the belt that drives the alternator and water pump?

I use a Gates 9.5mm - works well.
