Been lusting after the Omega Seamaster Diver 300 for many years, and with having a friend in the business and a very good discount, I visited the Omega Boutique in Manchester today and collected my first luxury watch. I also noticed the quality of the new style Omega box, another nice touch smile I did like the older wave dial detail, however the newer face and ceramic bezel looks stunning.

Good choice.
I've had mine for over a decade and haven't seen anything I'd change it for.
I've worn it as my daily and after a recent clean looks as good as new.
The box is definitely an improvement over what mine came in.

Lovely. Was tempted earlier in the year, bracelet is the only thing that puts me off.

Why? It's one of the comfiest bracelets I've ever worn.

It is if you can get a good fit. I've had a fair few Seamasters over the years and (much as I like them) have moved them on after a short time because the relative lack of fine adjustment on the bracelet makes it uncomfortable for me. Nothing worse in my book than a heavy bracelet which is slightly loose. They work better for me on a strap.

Wow that box is stunning. Mine came in a pretty standard looking red case in 2010. That explains the price increase I noticed when I last looked in an Omega store.

Lovely watch and a great new box from Omega. I have its ancestor, bought new in April 1997 and still going strong over 19 years later.

It's all the watch anyone would really ever need.

I think it's quite ugly, and doesn't suit the ceramic.

That's one of the things that make it a bit different, jealous of that new box not that anyone else really gets to see it apart from us anorak's, anyway here's my GMT

Forget the watch, lovely as it is, how much nicer is that box than the pos that is the red one my constellation came in.

I find the same with my speedy - there's very little fine adjustment and it prevents me getting a proper comfy fit. My watch hand is also my 'mouse' hand whilst using the PC and I find the clasp protruded a little too much to make it comfortable, which I why I swapped it out for this nice (and comfortable) nylon strap.

I have a Seamaster Professional and try as I might, I can't get the bracelet comfortable. I wear it on a perlon strap and it's one of my favourite watches on that

Box is great. Missus bought my 300m 3 years ago for my 40th and came in standard red box

Worn daily from after work to next morning as I wear a breitling Colt to work
