Mrs MOB has only ever worked for 2 companies - current one for the past 15 years. Started fairly junior, progressed to General Manager and now Ops Director of a division of a blue chip company. Always been pretty happy.

She is getting a vibe of potential redundancy from her boss. Maybe or maybe not.

But it has made her realise that she is coasting and it would not be the end of the world if something like this did happen.

She has a few contacts inside and outside of her current company that may have interesting opportunities, but I have suggested she creates a CV (!) and perhaps tests the water.

I work in Finance as a contractor so I know most of the Finance agencies, can anyone recommend similar for her kind of roles?

I also suggested to her that management consultancy would be a good route for her so any suggestions in that direction also welcome.

Thanks

Gargamel

Odgers
Spencer Stuart
Russell Reynolds
Heidrick and Struggles

These are the best search consultancies on the market.

Korn Ferry are also up there though personally I have never found them useful.

I can second Odgers; and maybe add Hays.

Good luck!

The tech practice at Russell Reynolds is pretty good, not found Korn Ferry to be particularly good
