I hope there are Wedges in heaven.

Received some very sad news this morning..A fellow Wedge owner and friend sadly passed away yesterday morning...He loved and cared for classic cars all his life.
For the last three years he owned and fell in love with his first TVR Wedge which did give him some jib in the beginning but he quickly sorted it out so it was running sweet as.
He was also responsible for us going to the Blackbird and bush classic car meet as he was a welcomed face there by many...Thanks mate.
He always had a brave face on and always stayed positive despite his battle with cancer....
R.I.P Dave...Friend and fellow Wedger.

Andy i doubt that you knew him, He was known as Slads...He bought his first Wedge from Rudy in Belgium around three years ago but was a prominent figure in the world of Classic cars for a lifetime.Yes sad news indeed.

Thanks
Mark
Oh I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I exchanged a few emails with him last year when the red Wedge appeared in my local area (having tracked him down on here). Never got to meet him in person (beyond a passing wave and a thumbs up), but he seemed like a genuine enthusiast and nice bloke. Thought I hadn't seen the Wedge about this summer... Thoughts go out to his family.

Yeah i remember ..He was chuffed to bits that he got a spotted..
He was made up that the Wedge fraternity always made him feel so welcome and part of it all...
Cheers
