Valve cover gaskets

Morning,

Looking to remove mine to paint them, which would require new gaskets.....

For a 2003 car Eurospares list a full gasket set at nigh on £1,000.

They show LP 640 gaskets separately - would a 640 gasket fit an earlier car ?

Did they actually change the design of the valve covers?

I've just had the valves done on mine so I'll have a look at the bill and get back to you with an accurate figure. from memory it was about £240 for the gaskets. The valve covers are definitely different between a 6.2 and 6.5

Apologies for the delay. £330 inc vat main dealer on my bill for a full set of gaskets so a grand seems outrageous! !
