GoPro Hero 4 Mic adaptor

Has anyone tried the mic adaptors that are on ebay and did it work

I got one of these:

Got it from Amazon specifically to use at a wedding. It captured all the audio from the ceremony and the speeches pretty well. The GoPro was placed some way away from the people involved, but it still picked it up nicely. No interference or wind noise etc.

Overall, I think it was worth the £27 it cost on Amazon....
