Virus, Explorer modifier

Can anyone help, I have something on my machine that keeps modifying my home page and adding things in my favourites. I have run spyware and it finds it and removes it, but next time i log onto the web it is all back.

It seems to find the file in the registry.

Please help !

I found the guide at MajorGeeks very helpful.

Try running "adawareSE" and "spybot search and destroy".

Download them fire them up and update them to latest level then reboot in "safe mode" and run them through to kill off the spyware.

If that doesn't sort it probably time to get Hijack this and run that and post the log so that the stuff can be removed by hand. Very important to get the log posted before removing anything as hijack this just shows whats there and alot of it will be ligit stuff loading at startup.
