Not sure if this breaks any forum rules but what would you guys give for one of these, Apr 2016 UK supplied with 5yr warranty , box and papers.

Worn but mint.

Been offered it and unsure what to bid.

Ring round a few dealers to see what they'd offer you , average it out then bid that plus say £250

Buy a 16710 (pre-ceramic stainless one), save yourself £10k+ and send me £250 for giving you good advice.

A slightly more helpful answer being about £15k. I'd want to see proof of purchase too.

There's one on chrono24, uk private sale at £15800, condition described as fine, if that's any help.

Thank you CS, a bit out of the blue and not sure I wouldn't rather a Rosegold Daytona at that price.

That's pretty mammoth depreciation as the list price is £25k.

Hence could be a canny purchase if it can come for that...

You will find that all the precious metals have the largest depreciation with steel being the strongest but if you can get into a preowned one for 20-30% off RRP then thats where you want to be and won't lose if at all long term. Really nice watch and has the weight but gold is soft so decide whether your lifestyle suits it

Got a Bi-metal GMT II & Ceramic SS Daytona for daily duties - this would be something more occasional

Don't be stupid, you can't lose money on a Rolex, like evaaah.
Everybody knows they're a better investment than, well, everything.

Ooooh, I probably should add that there's a rumour they're about to put their prices up. A dealer who was desperately trying to get me to pull the trigger today told me, so it must be true.

Im very confident you will see a rise from Rolex very soon, I know everyone speculates and rumours but this is a very very strong possibility this time

You're right of course. Only the village hejurt and the naive believe it's fiscally prudent to invest in a watch. I was taking the piss. Sorry. getmecoat

If you don't want a 16710 (which is my personal favourite) there is a 116710 stainless steel / Cerachrom one on Chrono24.co.uk which has had the Pepsi bezel fitted. So it looks like the white gold one and it's £10k cheaper.

Found it, the red & blue don't fade together like the WG variant but that looks ace.
