[RESOLVED / ANSWERED] Sort the daily spam

When are the mods/owners going to sort the spam issue? I get in from work usually 3-4am and the first topic that always greats me in every forum without fail is an ad for cheapkitchens.uk.com. It's got the point where I'm sick of reporting them as 24hrs later it just reappears under a new moniker. Why not prevent new members from being able to make public posts until say their 10th post; all posts prior to that must be approved by a moderator.

They're driving us crazy. Who knew that cheap kitchens were such a popular thing.

Anyway, the way to resolve this is to automate our "trusted / verified" settings, that only allow established members to post. At the moment we can turn this on and off at will, but we're looking to automate it so that it comes on in the wee small hours when 99% of the spammers post.

Thanks for the feedback though... and thanks for reporting them as it takes ages to find them all otherwise.
