I quite fancy getting another American motor, something big enough to get the whole brood in so the missus doesn't complain and with a load of character. I'd like a big 70's station wagon or a 70's Suburban. I have a soft spot for vinyl and crushed velour.

I actually sort of have one of those Dodge vans already, Matchbox did a version of it. I found it in my parents loft along with a load of other stuff sometime ago, it's now in the care of my boy!

Mopar is a contraction of Motor Parts and was used by Chrysler originally I think, and then to all other makes in the group (Dodge, Plymouth etc). Hemi refers to the hemispherical combustion chamber in the cylinder head, such as the Chrysler big block hemi, though quite a few other manufacturers have produced them too. ...and HEMI?
