Blimey. 30K for that? Don't know anything about it, and I must admit its difficult to see much detail, but is that really a 993 engine?

The owner posted it for sale on DDK. Whilst he's not posted much on there, he has made a few posts so is not completely unknown as it were.

What makes you say that? It looks like a pre vario ram 993 engine to me. Although it does look like the air box lid is missing!

Hmmm, hey Madala, maybe it's US that haven't got 993 engines

If you remove the air con compressor, heater motor/box and a few other gubbins (like the car for sale has) that is most definitely an early 993 engine in there (with hotfilm air flow meter)
