Made some 'Black edition' mods to my 2007 V8V.
Black window trim wrap
Black gloss wheels
Rear clear lights (although you can't see)
R&R lowering springs
Rear Wheels spacer kit 25mm
Carbon wrap black front wing fins

Should I go black front Grille? Can't decide.

Thanks

Yes .I have done the grill too just use plasi dip then if you change your mind you can just peel it off. I just have the window trims to do but not sure how to remove them without any damage to them.

Looks really good imo, I'd wrap the front grille. Could you post a few close up pics of the wrapped window surrounds and side stakes please....thanks

Bit of a low res image but I think black would go well with your other work

Can you provide any information regarding the removal and wrapping of the window surrounds ?

I was looking at adding a few black/carbon bits to my car over the winter.

I did get a quote for buying the black surround, but think it was about £1.8k......I fell off my chair.

I'd also be interested as mine is all black.

Do the bonnet vents come out easily as I'd like to paint them?

Looks good OP, how much did the springs lower the car? (Cant quite see on the photo)

Did my grill with plasti dip, disassemble every slat and post before cleaning/spraying. It's well worth giving it a go yourself. If you make a mess just peel it off:

Regarding the window surrounds Lee they shouldn't be too expensive to get wrapped, I was charged a couple of hours labour for mine

The bonnet louvres are removed by undoing the nuts from the engine side and slide out forwards, taking time not to mark anything.

Great looking! How You made black trims? It's foil?

I'm upgrading my V8V on the same ONYX black colour.. Mirror cover I sent to hydrogphic paint as goldem carbon. Blinkers on sides will be black and also rear lights are black. It looks better than clear ones.. 6slate front grill but chrome package as trims.

They all look great! Thank you. I'll post more pics when I get home at the weekend. Lowering springs were 25mm I seem to remember . Wheels sprayed gloss black and black bolt plastic covers. Also ordered black wheel genuine centre caps

My opinion is that the grille should match the side strakes. I'm going black grille soon so I'll be blacking out my side strakes. I think the two complement each other to give an overall cohesive look to the style of the car. Just my two colonial pennies.
