Audi Exclusive TT S-Line Opinions please
Discussion
I'm looking for some feedback please from all you like minded Audi/VW fans.
We are selling my Missus Audi TT and i'm curious to what you guys think whether i've priced it correctly...
I've tried to pitch in between other private ads, and the smaller engined 1.8T and the sport cars, and its a unique audi exclusive colour which i'm aware will have a limited market when compared to say black, white and silver.
I'm loathed to reduce the car much below £15K given what else is for sale, and we have owned it from new.

We buy any car have offered me £13750 and dealers are offering trade in at £13-13500, so hopefully i'm not pushing my luck with £15K?
Please can you let me know your thoughts
Regards
Andy

I don't think the price is silly but you are looking for a very, very specific customer there. It may well be the only car in that colour. The season for 'toy' purchases is now slowing a bit as well.
If you want to sell it quickly the offers you're being made sound sensible; careful with a WBAC price until they've seen and appraised the car (and you've accounted for any fees).

Thanks for the reply.
Yes i'm aware its a very niche product in that colour, so i'm hoping there is a genuine buyer who will like it and enjoy it, i'm reluctant to sell it to WBAC anyway heard a few stories, and the fees take the shine from the offer, and thanks for the heads up.
I may well consider keeping it if it comes down to having to trade it for a low figure....will see what happens.
Was just curious of general opinion on my asking price, see if i had it pitched right for a private sale.
Does not seem expensive and is a great colour
More unusual colours are more niche and its a case of waiting for the right buyer, I have owned cars in unusual / rare colours and bought them specifically because of the colour - Nugget Yellow Corrado G60, Atlantis Blue E36 328i Sport and just bought a MK1 TT V6 in Papaya.
Have you advertised it anywhere else?

Hi yes this was the reason we chose it, and in the flood of black, white and silver TT's it was refreshing everyone compliments the car and its colour, suppose its one thing saying 'love it' its another owning it!
Have spread the word on Autotrader, motors, car and classic, here, and ebay.
Getting more interest now, lots of comments, and of course those wanting me to ship to Nigeria etc and traders hoping for a quick cheeky profit.
Someone will get a bargain as the car in mint, and aside from the odd stone chip, and small marks on front alloys its far cheaper than stuff Audi Uk are selling, and at much less money.
P.S papaya and Atlantic blue are great colours :-) i always liked the Java green, and solar orange on VW/Audi as well.
Fingers crossed.

SOLD I notice. Just goes to show its a waiting game.
Hi Yes, it went on Monday, although i had to let it go £750 less than i wanted to :-(
The chap got a mint car at a bargain when compared to some of the tatty and high mileage rubbish some dealers are trying to sell for £10-14K and many are 1.8T and not the 2.0 TFSI.
Oh well moving on now though, and time for a change so its a Porsche this time.
