Just an odd one, my alarm works as it should (lights in rear screen a normal) and the start up process is normal however I have noticed that the LED light by my contact key (manual override) is never lit?

What does this indicate?? Easy fix?

Thanks in advance

Does the manual override work?

Mine flashes when the immobiliser is armed even if the alarm is not, solid when I disarm it with the key fob or by putting the stick thing in the socket (only ever used the stick thing once).

No override doesn't seem to do anything? Never have been sure of how to operate it anyway? Gruff I must apologise as I was looking forward to our Bucks get together tomorrow but this afternoon my wife told me I had agreed to do a family day out with our 2yr old to Thrift farm... So after announcing my retirement on Tuesday thinking I'd be having more "me" time my 1st outing has been vetoed

Please pass my apologies onto the lads and must meet up soon (the next one)

Please advise in the meantime. Thanks mate

Oh well these things happen.

It sounds like the wiring between the socket to the immobiliser has failed in some way, take the helmet holder out and make sure it is all still connected.

That sound quite easy as I know it had been disturbed by me and DTT when I had my retire. Any plug in particular to look for?

All sorted! Cheers for comments as Gruff suggested it was the wire under the helmet holder that was disconnected. Could have been done in 2015 (when interior was retrimmed). The potential culpret seems to have signed his name and date in a manor the original builders did! hahaha

Edited to add my OCD is now cured (after going to the garage every 5mins to check it was still flashing)... lol
