I just spoke to a guy who's driving a 911 in a few odd rounds of the Powertour this year and said, "So, why's Kelvin Burt's car so fast then?" His instant reply was 'Michelin tyres'. I know that doesn't exactly account for the engine sounding different - but there you go.
