Combining a bit of PH with a bit of pedalling, I've started trying to test myself by guessing the type of engine in the vehicle behind as they sit waiting to overtake. Diesels are generally easiest, from a rattly old 4 cylinder to the more cultured 6's in BMW's etc. . You can tell they are ready to go as you hear the turbo spin up first. Most aggressive overtakes seem to be BMW X5's followed by older Range Rovers. Haven't had the pleasure of a Ferrari or Lambo go past at full chat yet although I was tailed by a Sierra RS Cosworth on Friday with a binding brake on one wheel who then floored it up the road and, I think, managed to get wheelspin on the 2nd to 3rd change. I didn't go the same route to see if it subsequently became an ex-Cosworth in a hedge....

I met a Tesla on my bicycle too, tried to have a mini drag race as I do off most lights. Managed the usual 5m lead before running out of gear, guess they weren't racing. (single speed trials bike so an easy gear)

I was overtaken by a huge yank tank on Friday. The V8 in it sounded awesome but it took about a week to get past me as the thing was so long. He got a thumbs up from me.
