well it's continuing ... not given up and thrown the bike into the garage quite yet, and it appears the the Mrs has entered us for our first SkyRide this weekend ! It's only a tiddler though, will be interesting to cycle with 'other people.
I've been riding in the lower gears like you guys suggested and it is much easier on the legs, but the lungs are taking a bit of a battering now, and had a cpl of rides where I just didn't seem to have anything in the tank, and the Mrs was a small dot on the horizon ! - Not sure whats going there, although I have a feeling that as her job involves lots of walking, she's getting fitter quicker than I !
best make sure the bikes are shiny for their public appearance now then !
