Are there different gen' engines in the latest RR / RRS? If so, when was the crossover? Example is the Evoque went from 2.2 to the newer 2.0 some months back...

Is there a definitive spec list for the RR/ RRS that isn't just the latest one for brand new models? i.e: used up to three years old.

Is there a new RR / RRS sport on the horizon? When are they expected?

Thanks

re latest RRS - I *think* the latest engine is 306hp which replaces the previous 288hp. Not sure exactly when the 306 was introduced but from looking on Autotrader it appears to be late 2015. I have no idea how you would know if you were buying a 288 or 306 though confused

hope that helps

eta - might need a LR forum for the answer to this (LR forum on here is a bit quiet)

The 306BHP engine was on cars built Feb 2015 onwards. Mine is a 15 reg first registered on 1st March 2015 and I have it. It's a much smoother and powerful engine with much more torque than the unit it replaced. It is also much more fuel efficient. I would buy a car with the newer engine if you can. It's a real shame that RR don't offer this wonderful engine in the larger RR.

The Full fat has it's own engine and it is very underpowered - a TDV6 with 258 BHP which is even lower than the old RRS engine had!

There was also a RRS with a TDV6 255BHP engine, this was only available in SE spec and was only around for approx 1 year as it was not a big seller I believe. Everyone was buying the SDV6 288BHP which only came in the higher spec models.
