It was airbrushed for me for my birthday. Have a look at my profile.

Presumably that we are only meant to advertise in the classifieds?

Oh crikey. Its not going on PH, as its not the type of car that would be sold on here (unfortunately)

I just wanted some advice so I can sell the thing so I can buy a new one and it seems like there is something missing from the ad but didnt know what.

As soon as I get the wording - I will delete the post.

For sale Suzuki GV2000 soft top jeepy type thingy. I've owned this little cutey from new and have tootled along with her for 57000 miles in total pleasure. She has lots of little nick nacks and glitzy adornments which make her the bargain that she is now. Plenty of buttons to push and switches to flick to while away those mind numbing hours on the motorways, or you could take advantage of her stonking sound system. Poor darling has a little scratch near her ignition barrel. I must admit it was done by myself being impatient and was totally unprovoked! To make up for it I had a nice man from TVR splash ever loving care and attention on her for the day (well it must be the equivalent of a health spa for a car though). Can't bear to part with such a darling but she's forever going topless as soon as the sun pops out from behind a cloud. So being the reserved person I must bid her a tearful farewell.

A picture is worth a thousand words!

Also, no mention of age / plate?

Size of engine?

EBay has a feature that you enter your reg and it brings up the details of date registered etc. Does it need to be put in the wording as well?

I like that a lot but the amp and sub are coming out. They can listen to the exhaust instead.

Sold as seen? Surely all private sales are thus? Where does it say you have to give a warranty? To me it sounds like you're trying to hde something, I'd miss that bit out.

As an aside, I once bought a Yamaha Passola twist'n'go from some friends who ran a bike breakers. This thing was lime green and still had the shopping baskets front and rear. Cost me £12. I used to turn up at local biker meets on it, in full leathers, and the guys would fall about laughing, then fall over each other trying to make the bloody thing wheelie
The point being that the sales invoice read:

"Sold as shit, never to be seen again, it makes me ill in the morning"

Take the "and most reciepts" bit out. Makes it sound like you've shredded a few that are dodgy. FSH should be fine, and include the occasional bill.

Personally I would term this slightly differently - ie Mot and Tax to June 2005. Sounds a little more positive perhaps!?

Sold as seen

As already said, this almost implies that you expect something to go wrong. Probably best to delete as its not necessary.

PS - Good luck with the sale
