Good afternoon everyone,

I have a question concerning what light bulb type I need in a specific location on my 2008 DB9.

Could look it up in the owners manual, however I need to make a quick decision and the owners manual is 550 km away from my current whereabouts.

I guess the proper description is that I need the bulb type for my position (running-lights) at the extreme front of the light assembly. Essentially the white-light bulb under the "fresnel lens" portion of the light assembly and the bulb type for the turn signals.

Although the latter are not defective, I may as well change them whilst deep in the bow of the AM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and again sorry, for the imbacile description.

Cheers,

Lutz

Ciao again,

if I may follow up my last contribution with an additional question. When I _lock_ the AM with the remote key, the turnsignal lights confirm this visually. When I _unlock_ the AM, I no longer receive a visual confirmation of the process.

In short... I open it, it blinks. I close it, it no longer blinks.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks again.

Lutz

Take a look here for a picture of the turn indicator bulb. It is described as a PY27W/7W.

The side light bulb is fairly standard described as a Blue W5W (Although it glows bright white of course)

Getting to them requires wheels off and in through the arch liner but i believe the removal of the air box helps. Not an easy job by all accounts.

Good Morning to all of you,

first and foremost all the best from Germany. I have attemtped to use one of the pictures I was fortunate to be able to have a look at (thanks!) to better describe what bulbs I need.

Looking forward to further responses and thanking you for the one already submitted.

Cheers,

Lutz

Dunno if this is your bulb....
New side lamp bulb on my DB9V (2010) part number 4G43-13465-AA cost £108+ VAT to fit. Part itself was about £5
Fitted by AM specialist just north of London
cheers

In the UK this is referred to as a side light which is a Blue W5W bulb.

From the parts catalog

7 4G43-13465-AA Bulb, blue- W5W Side lights

Let me extend a truly huge thanks to you. Debated the whole time if I was just not expressing myself correctly. Side light to me were always the round ones in the front fender under the side strakes. Didn't want to be impolite and write "guys, I am talking about the FRONT of the car". Had to laugh and made my day. I especially like the communication tone in this forum. I was on a Harley Davidson forum the other day. As we say in Germany, I was on it twice...the first and the last time. smile

All the best to all of you from a truly happy German guy!!!
