Is there anywhere that can replicate 35mm slides? I have some 35mm slides that I require copies of, but most places now will only do digital copies - I want multiples of my current 35mm slides in 35mm slide format.

Any ideas?

Light box, slide film (if you can still buy it, 'E6' IIRC), macro lens.

Mind you for prolonged pain, sticking a fork into my leg is much quicker and also free nuts

Sounds slow, boring and open to error, especially in my hands smile

Anywhere that I can pay someone to do it for me?

I'm going to sneak round the back and ask 'why?'

I wondered this myself smile

I have some stuff that comes with these slides, and a duplicate pack of stuff but without the slides. By copying the existing slides makes the 2nd set a more complete package.

Ha, nothing as interesting as that, and very very nerdy. The financial rewards taking your route would far exceed the rewards of getting a duplicate set of 35mm pictures smilesmile

Then again, if you destroy the second (slideless) package, the first one will become worth much more...

But then if I sold the first pack I wouldn't have one myself wink

Cheers, I've shot them off an email to see if its something they can do.

I spoke to the local photographic shop and he blew his cheeks out, sucked in air through his lips [like the car garages do when you ask them 'how much?' for a service....] and mentioned Joes Basement in London [which I have found subsequently closed down in 2003....] and Silver Print, also in London. Has anyone used Silver Print?

That looks right to me.

And to think that when I worked at an ad agency c.1990, we churned out 'dupes' without even thinking about it. Now almost a lost technology.
