Evening all, just happened across this on YouTube - nice looking final flourish for the Vantage. And what a price - $138,000US which is a bargain. I'm unsure as to whether it'll be a UK variant. Thoughts?

For USA only, limited to 100 units. With gas guzzler, shipping and a few options, prices in the $150,000+/- range. Last of the gen 1 vantage for the USA.

Errr isn't it just what they are calling the V8 Vantage S from MY17 production in the UK? All 3 previous V8 models (V8 V8S and N430) are now rationalised into a single upgraded full spec model from MY17 and the same applies to the US - it's just AM USA are calling it a "GTS"?

That's exactly what it is. But for the same price there are quite a few very low mileage 2014 and 2015 V12's out there.

It was the alcantara dash pod that fooled me as this is not an option in the UK, but agree mainly an S.

I thought it was the last run of specials before being replaced.

The GTS was soft launched Stateside at the end of last year, it isn't just a standard V8S, rather a high specification (with $25k-ish options included at near standard V8S pricing) cosmetically enhanced run-out model, with two options, either Lux or Sport. BUT the previous US only GT model offers great value (probably the cheapest Vantage deal Worldwide) and is the pick of the new or nearly new cars from a value perspective. smile

Had a quick dodge in Aston Orlando the other day , I'm sure they had one in at $140k otr.

Hardly the bargain that is being implied.

$140K is a bargain for a GTS. It's the GT that was the steal, GTS not so much. Most of the GT's were 2015, a few 2016's got through, but not many before Aston pulled the plug on them.
