Yes it is news stories like this- Fireman being shot at while putting out fires-that make us realise how far our society has fallen in the last 40 years.

It will only end when the government realise the response to such scum is not to give them community service and some counselling, but to lock them up for a very long time.

What's worse, though, is when hoax calls are made in order to lure the fire service there in the first place. Even worse still, fires are sometimes deliberately set in order to get them on-scene.
